Issey Miyake appoints Yoshiyuki Miyamae as creative director

Japanese fashion house Issey Miyake has named Yoshiyuki Miyamae as its new creative director, replacing Dai Fujiwara who stepped down earlier this year.

Miyamae has worked as a designer with the label since 2006 and will now head up the womenswear collections, beginning with spring/summer 2012.
